We used EC Roofing/Brett for re-roofing. Brett and his team have done an amazing job. They keep everything on track and was great to work with. They are professional and work hard to get the job done in a timely manner. In addition, they clean up after each day. This is the roofer everyone needs. We highly recommend Brett/EC Roofing for re-roofing. p.s. they use 3"x3" drip edge metal on the perimeter of the roof which differentiate them from others who use 2" drip edge. The roof looks great!

Expert Roof Insurance Claim Consultation in Dana Point, CA
When your Dana Point roof takes a hit from Santa Ana winds, Pacific storm surge, or wind-driven rain, filing an insurance claim can feel like a second problem on top of the first. Pelican Roofs SoCal helps you cut through that confusion with a focused roof insurance claim consultation. We inspect your roof for damage, document what we find, and put that documentation in a format your adjuster can use. Dana Point's coastal environment adds a layer of complexity that inland claims rarely face. Salt air accelerates corrosion on flashing and fasteners, and adjusters may flag that deterioration as pre-existing wear rather than storm damage. We know the difference, and we know how to show it. Our consultation covers damage assessment, photo documentation, scope review, and adjuster meeting support. Whether your roof shows lifted tiles after a wind event or water intrusion from a Pacific storm, we give you a clear, documented picture of what happened. Call Pelican Roofs SoCal to schedule your consultation.

Roof Insurance Claim Consultation FAQ
Common questions about roof insurance claim consultation in Dana Point, CA.
Yes, we can be on-site during the adjuster's visit to walk through the damage with them directly. Having a roofing professional present helps make sure every affected area is reviewed and documented.
Insurance policies generally cover sudden, accidental damage from events like high winds, falling objects, and storm-driven rain. Damage from normal wear, salt air aging, or lack of maintenance is usually excluded.
Adjusters may attribute corroded flashing or fasteners to pre-existing wear rather than a covered storm event. Our consultation documents the specific cause of each damage item so the distinction is clear in your claim file.
The consultation includes a roof inspection, photo documentation of all damage, a written scope of findings, and support during your adjuster's visit. Everything is organized in a format your insurance carrier can review.
Wind damage from a documented event like Santa Ana winds is typically a covered peril under standard homeowners policies. A professional inspection first helps you understand the full scope before you contact your carrier.
You can request a re-inspection and submit a supplemental report from a licensed roofing contractor to support your case. Pelican Roofs SoCal can provide the written documentation needed to support that process.
